In this week’s episode I discuss the ascendant and descendant, also known as the relationship axis.
The ascendant is directly opposite the Descendant and the connecting line between these two points marks the horizon where we see the Sun rise in the East and set in the West. This is why the ascendant is also known as the rising sign.
I thought it was interesting that you said you said when you get nervous you are talkative re having Gemini rising. I’ve noticed that my Gemini sun sign friends tend to become talkative when nervous. I’ve also noticed that myself and my 3 closest friends whom share Gemini ascendants are normally only talkative when comfortable but when he are nervous we become hyper intrigued by those around us and it’s when we do our best listening. It all makes sense for Gemini anyway, but just an observation. Perhaps there is more going on in the charts that I haven’t delved into understanding to explain this. 🙂 love listening to you, thanks for your work!
Hi Carmen thanks for getting in touch. I love the ways different charts express themselves, of course Gemini is the communicator and there are many facets of communication, not just chatting! I also have Mercury in conjunction with Venus and I have Taurus on my 12H cusp so that might explain the gassiness?! But there are other factors to consider, like Neptune in my 12H, there’s not a strong boundary between myself and others (thank goodness for my Cappy Sun!) there. I think other chart factors do play a large part with all these things.
You’re welcome by the way, I’m so glad you’re enjoying the podcast 🙂
