This isn’t really a light and fluffy month with lots of backtracking, going over details and looking back to the past.

Mercury, Mars, Saturn, Pluto, and Neptune are retrograde and Uranus will be turning direct. So it’s still a time of introspection and integration of the internal and external environments. Looking within, changing your direction and looking back instead of forward, Mercury and Mars are likely to have the most obvious impact on us.

Willpower isn’t at its strongest currently – your ruling planet Mars is retrograde and working hard on surfacing some hidden gripes which have caused you to re-evaluate your friendships. The pursuit of happiness is high on the agenda this month and communicating messages from the heart will be received as genuine, just be aware that your audience may not wear their heart on their sleeve like you do in these matters. It’s all happening in Leo this month! Mercury retrograde plus the solar eclipse! You might be using a lot of your energy on other people, especially old friends who are more drama that they’re worth! This month has you feeling like you are backtracking and a little unsettled, and you could be looking backward at times that felt simpler. But that is the past, which is good for hindsight – keep your focus on the future!  When the Sun moves into Virgo on the 22nd your possessions and value zone is highlighted so you might be drawn to buying some new things to reflect the changes going on around you. Enjoying exploring your local area, you will find a lot to like during August. During Mercury retrogrades topsy-turvy effect on your outlook, you will be drawn to creating some order in your life.
