The Modes: Fixed Signs
The Fixed signs are Taurus, Leo, Scorpio and Aquarius
Dividing the horoscope wheel by four and connecting the points where the circle is intersected gives a regular quadrilateral (and equilateral square). Signs of the same mode (also known as quality or quadruplicity) sit at the points of the square at 90° (three signs) apart. The Fixed signs are Taurus, Leo, Scorpio and Aquarius.

I found this very enlightening. I only have 1 fixed sign in my chart. Scorpio in Pluto. I could definitely relate to lacking this node and I never even realized the significance!
Hi Amber,
It’s really interesting how under-represented elements and modes express themselves in the chart! I recently spoke to Kira Sutherland about how elements and modes work in medical astrology and how they express themselves in relation with our health. The interview will be coming out in a few months so keep your eyes peeled!
